AusVotes 2019 Chart 18 May, 2019 8.00AM Canberra, Australia.

April 14, 2019

This is a reading of the zeitgeist /social ambience of the day that Australians vote for their future government. A kind of snapshot of Australia’s “character” and the choices made by this “character”.

This election, I believe, is one of the most important in a generation. In many ways it reminds me of the time when Whitlam was elected all those years ago. We are at a crossroads, a fork in the road. The choice is clear – do we want a fair and just society where essential and affordable services are for EVERYONE or a society where individualism is rampant and where the “I’m alright Jack, so fuck you” attitude is dominant? Do we want ALP or  LNP to be our government?

We are in an environment full of Uranus technological communications with Social Media complementing and supplementing and at times replacing our mainstream media. In this amazing soup of information, commentary we also see that this election campaign is full of deep lies/delusions as the Neptune conjunct the MC shows.

If you want a quick answer as to what this Election’s “character” is I can say it is a caring, warm hearted one that’s not afraid of making big changes to ensure the health and well being of all Australians. It shows an ALP face and heart.

With the many trines and other signatures pointing to a Labor win I will not be surprised if it will be a landslide win for Bill Shorten and Labor.

Of course – I could be mistaken. Of course, I could be projecting my wishes onto the symbols. I accept those limitations and hope you read this as it’s meant to be taken –  thoughts of someone who cares for our beautiful country, star gazing with wonder and making calculated guesses.

For those not familiar with Astrological term Houses just click here.

Venus Sextile Mars

Shows a warm heartedness and friendliness towards other people.
There is a protective instinct that leads to creating policies which make a safe and secure community for all.

Saturn Opposition Moon’s North Node

This shows that there will be a closer relationship between the generations than there was before. It points to a healing of the wealth/opportunity rift that arose during the dark days of the neolib financial establishment with its low taxes for the rich and negative gearing for the older superannuated while the younger generations lost out.

There is a sense of responsibility towards others, coupled with strong feelings of loyalty and duty.

Neptune Trine Moon’s North Node

There is a sensitivity here which reveals a capability to empathise with the disadvantaged and sense their needs. It points to a more compassionate government.

Pluto in Capricorn

This a generational placement of Pluto which shows the generation of people that will destroy and replace structures that have outlived their time and usefulness. We will see this in the efforts to alleviate Climate Change and the use of renewable energy along with electric vehicles. We will see a transformation of many systems (business, economic, political) that we have taken for granted regardless of who wins this election. However, with an ALP win this transformation will happen in a far more gentler way than with a conservative LNP government.

2nd House Cusp Ruler, Moon, in 6th House

The Moon in political astrology denotes the PEOPLE. So, in this context having the Moon in the sixth house means that employment rate will improve. It also shows that the peoples’ health will be looked after and this points to improvement of Medicare services for all Australians.

7th House Cusp Ruler, Jupiter, in 7th House

There will be a motivation within government to form relationships and unions with many diverse organisations that look after the welfare of the people. This will be an active seeking and initiating of new relationships perhaps prompted by technological innovations in communication.

What do the Stars Say? Australian Federal Election 2019 – Scott Morrison

March 14, 2019

Since the day for election has not been called yet this reading will include ALL possible dates. I will only look at the transits relevant to Bill Shorten and Scott Morrison for the period between now 5 March and 17 June, 2019.

The possible Election dates are 11 May, 18 May, 25 May and 1 June. So, just look at the dates of the transits (planets passing over the birth position of planets) to see what may eventuate. If you are too impatient to read the whole post I can say that the stars are pointing to an ALP win regardless of which date. However, you may find it interesting to see what the stars are showing week by week & to see if the schedule below is close to what happens day by day 🙂

Australia’s Chart with transits for all possible Election dates is HERE.

A NOTE about Timing – The dates given are the times when planets are either approaching or moving away from the positions of same at time of birth. Whilst the astronomical data is exact the timing of aspect influence on peoples’ behaviour is NOT – so please make an allowance for this. With weather forecasting it is well known that the further away the time of forecast is the less accuracy there is of an exact time. This would be amplified many times with astrology. Though there may be discrepancies in the EXACT times the general vibe should be there.

By the way – if you want to know what my approach is to this ancient art of Astrology just go here

Scott Morrison

Starts with 5 deg orb 1 Feb then from 26 Feb to 1 June this aspect is within 1-2deg

Saturn square Saturn:

This is a testing period when the structures of Morrison’s life seem less certain. Aspects of his life which seemed once to offer safety and security become less sure during this transit. It may be that he is viewing these areas differently, or it could be that what he considered to be Bill Shorten’s failure to win “popularity” in the polls may not matter at all. Morrison is being forced to reassess his plans and purpose and while he is required to leave behind any ineffective means of propaganda. It looks like he cannot do it.

This transit forces all of us to reassess what we are doing, our plans, our dreams and our purpose. Saturn square Saturn brings this phase of life sharply into focus – for scrutiny and review – and to an inevitable conclusion. It forces people to determine their priorities and to face certain realities. Morrison has to take a bold step, past the point of no return, away from former attitudes and securities to be able to face a new reality of what Australian people want. His fear campaigns no longer work. The tragedy for him is that he cannot move away from those attitudes.

With Turnbull as PM, LNP may have been able to connect with the new more socially progressive Australia. But the conservative RW side of the LNP cannot change. This Saturn square Saturn transit is making Morrison see what needs to be done but it does not look like he can do it. This overall feeling will be with him right through the whole election campaign along with the following placement of Uranus in the 10th House.

6 March 2019 – Beyond 1 Aug 2019, Transiting Uranus is passing through Morrison’s 10th House

For the whole period of Election Campaign & during the Election he has the “expect anything” Uranus giving his political career path an erratic and changeable feeling. He will need to guard his reputation and his leadership persona during this period, because any insensitive or inappropriate behaviour could backfire on him and cause possible embarrassment and guarantee a failure to win the election.

This vibe will be a backdrop to all the other transits. Already his chances of winning the election don’t look good.

Now compare this with Bill Shorten who has for the same period, transiting Jupiter passing through his 6th House. This shows that his focus is on his relations with his coworkers ie his ALP team. There is a certain wholesome and enjoyable ambience in the ALP atmospherics.

This is in complete contrast to Morrison’s transits in the 10th House.

Mar 11, 2019 (Mar 11, 2019 to Mar 16, 2019) Sun Opposite Natal Pluto

Morrison is directly confronting stuff that has been hidden, forgotten, or ignored for a long time. It seems this has mainly to do with the lack of women representation in the LNP and the “beautiful lump of coal” he brought into Parliament. Could also be earlier racist comments about Islam and Muslims.

There are also issues concerning his personal power and control. Morrison has to walk a fine line between taking too much power which makes him manipulative and tyrannical or too little power by being overly passive. This may point to the partner of LNP – the Nationals, where he can’t be seen to be getting embroiled in its power struggles.

15 March 2019 – 20 March 2019, strongest around 17 March 2019, Transiting Mars Trine Natal Pluto

We may see a sudden transformation during this transit where he may dare to change something about himself, maybe his appearance (wearing an Akubra rather than a baseball cap 🙂 or try to change a perception that has been impeding the election campaign. Morrison may have to surrender or eliminate something from his policy agenda. From what we currently see as an overall it’ll probably have something to do with women, asylum seekers – Islam  or the denial of climate change by many in the LNP.

He may try to appear “nicer” because he senses the changing heart of Australians, the fact that people want sick asylum seekers have medical help, that people support same sex marriage. We all know that he can’t appear to be nastier if there’s going to be a transformation.

Morrison has the energy to achieve results now through perseverance and persistence.

Mar 16, 2019 (Mar 15, 2019 to Mar 17, 2019) Sun Opposite Natal Uranus

This transit works with the one above because he may find that through “transforming” his relationships with both the community and his Party, the change may go awry or at least take an unexpected turn. Morrison may have a need for some novelty now, or someone in his Cabinet may need more independence or something outrageous needs to happen to spark things along. This could disrupt the status quo in the Government or just upset him.

Simply, this transit shows that Morrison should expect the unexpected in his relationship with LNP members.

From 16 Feb 4 deg orb 21 March 2019 – 10 June 2019, strongest around 12 April 2019 and 18 May 2019 exact until 13 July 4 deg orb , Transiting Saturn Trine Natal Pluto

No one can say that Morrison is not focused and this transit gives greater powers of concentration and the tenacity to apply himself.

This transit is a time of self-examination and change. If he cannot discipline himself or LNP he may experience this period as a time of restriction and obstacles.

From 18 March 4 deg orb exact 24 March then 30 March 4 deg orb  Transiting Mars Opposite Natal Neptune

This phase may be the pits for Morrison if a situation is stressful and demanding. His energy and confidence are low.
He is in danger of misdirecting his energies or misusing his power now. He will want to run but there’s nowhere he can hide because escapist tendencies are quite strong now.

23 March 2019 – 26 March 2019, strongest around 24 March 2019, Transiting Mars is Trine  Natal Uranus

This transit can inspire Morrison to try something new or out the ordinary. It increases his courage to experiment or to introduce reforms. This is a good time to make changes.

Mar 26, 2019 (Mar 24, 2019 to Mar 27, 2019) Transiting Mars Square Natal Jupiter

Morrison feels optimistic and enthusiastic about new strategies for the Election Campaign. In fact he may be foolishly over-confident and could take on more challenges than he can really meet. He is inclined to take more risks and to act on faith and belief in himself. This can, in fact, be a very productive time for him if he can keep his
expectations within reasonable bounds.

He feels very competitive and confident in his ability to succeed. Negatively, there can be impatience or rashness, conflicts with others and accidents. There can also be budget and perhaps another travel rort problem. Not necessarily his rort but someone in Government.

31 March 2019 – 16 May 2019, Transiting Mars is passing through 11th House

Between 31 March and beginning of May before an Election there could be heated arguments in Morrison’s cabinet. Disputes with his team are also possible now. Morrison will need to take care that he doesn’t alienate his allies or undermine his friendships through wilful or aggressive actions.

3 April 2019 – 19 April 2019, Transiting Jupiter Square Natal Uranus

Expect the unexpected with this transit, occasionally, this transit is preceded by an intense feeling of tension which suddenly releases when it becomes exact. Morrison could annoy others and display a “bloody-minded” attitude or contradict people for the hell of it. If conflicts of any description do arise, it is in Morrison’s best interests to try and nip them in the bud, lest they become exaggerated out of all proportion because with this transit any outcome is difficult to predict.

4 April 2019 and 26 May 2019 (17 Mar 2019 to 14 Jun 2019)

Transiting Saturn Square Natal Saturn

This transit returns in a stronger manner. Like the beat of a drum – it gets louder as it approaches but is in the background since the beginning of February. See the first occurrence of this transit at beginning of this reading.

12 April 2019 to April 14, 2019 Transiting Mercury Opposite Natal Uranus

Morrison will be feeling restless and may find himself in discussions about controversial topics or unusual policy issues – well, unusual for LNP. He may find he will say things in haste that he will regret later. There’s a strong chance that it will make it to the media.

From 25 April 4 deg orb then at May 1 exact then 4 deg orb 7 May, 2019, Mars Square Natal Pluto

This transit makes Morrison excessively willful, domineering or compulsive about doing what HE wants to do. He will battle anyone or anything (including powerful lobby groups) that are an obstacle to what he wants to do. This will create ego conflicts within his party and a furious power struggle may ensue.

This transit can allow Morrison’s inner despot to manifest if challenged.

On the other hand, since we don’t know what the date for the Election is, if it is held on May 1 this transit may well be describing this day and his loss to Bill Shorten.

9 April 2019 – 12 April 2019, strongest around 10 April 2019, Transiting Mars Sextile Natal Ascendant

During this period Morrison can assert himself more easily, without offending or upsetting others in the process.

14 April 2019 – 19 April 2019, strongest around 16 April 2019, Transiting Sun/Jupiter Square Natal Neptune

(I have used a midpoint symbol here which is the midpoint between transiting Sun and transiting Jupiter – Sun/Jupiter)

Morrison has high hopes and wishes but he needs to keep expectations in perspective. There is potential for misplaced confidence and trust. Bad news on the budget may appear.

15 April 2019 – 19 April 2019, strongest around 17 April 2019, Transiting Mars Conjunct Natal Mercury

There is a danger of hasty words or actions during this transit. Morrison should think before he opens his mouth or make important decisions. Seems that arguments are likely within his Party.

If there are protest actions for some LNP policy, violence may appear.

This transit shows that his chances of winning the Election are poor.

From 2 May 4 deg orb then at 9 May exact then 15 May 4 deg orb,  Transiting Mars square Natal Uranus

Potential for accidents during this period. Pressures and arguments caused by inner tensions or stress in either himself or others around him. Morrison should expect the unexpected and perhaps slow down or he will let fly some inappropriate words & perhaps actions. He doesn’t want to be a team player during this period.

If an Election is called during this period then it doesn’t look like a win for Morrison.

May 11, 2019 (May 10, 2019 to May 12, 2019), Sun Trine Natal Pluto

During these days something hidden or forgotten may come to light.

16 May 2019 – 2 July 2019, Transiting Mars is passing through 12th House

At this time, Morrison’s will, drive and resistance are weaker than usual; and anyone who may wish to undermine or work against him, for whatever reason, could be a problem now. He may have a tendency to worry or panic more than normal at the moment.

This may be because if the Election was held, he has lost.

May 22, 2019 to May 24, 2019, Transiting Mercury Conjunct Natal Mars

Morrison is not in a very conciliatory mood now and he is not averse to stirring up unpleasant controversies in defense of his position, idea, plan or policy. He may speak in haste which can be a cause of regret later on.

May 23, 2019 to May 26, 2019, Transiting Sun Conjunct Natal Mars

Morrison feels energetic , confident and assertive now so he is less inclined to be patient with others. He may become angry if he doesn’t get his way or if he is asked to slow down. He will be feeling quite pugnacious and hot tempered unless he took some chill pills or learnt how to meditate.

May 26, 2019 (Mar 17, 2019 to June 14, 2019) Transiting Saturn Square Natal Saturn

This transit returns in a stronger manner. Like the beat of a drum – it gets louder as it approaches but is in the background since the beginning of February. See the first occurrence of this transit at beginning of this reading.

27 May 2019 – 12 June 2019, strongest around 4 June 2019, Transiting Jupiter Square Natal Pluto

During this period Morrison will have a pronounced desire to assert himself. Compulsive behaviour and power plays are common with this transit. This does not auger well for his chances in winning the Election. If he is not careful and he lets loose with an intemperate tongue he may find that people will line up to throw shit on him and to expose all of his darkest secrets.

He has to avoid becoming dogmatic and having a “holier than thou” attitude. This will be difficult for Morrison because he has a born again Prosperity Gospel Christianity baked into his being. He must make efforts to keep his ego out of group / team decisions otherwise he will encounter strong opposition. If he has anything to hide, he won’t be able to now.
